Bengaluru, Karnataka Job Summary The Sr Software Engineer – iOS will work on projects related to the design, development, and support of Polaris Ride Command mobile applications, with a primary focus on native iOS development. This role contributes to building world-class connected rider solutions that enhance the overall powersports experience. This position is responsible for analyzing product and business requirements, contributing to technical design, developing scalable and high-quality mobile solutions, performing unit testing, and supporting production systems. The engineer will collaborate closely with product owners, UX designers, and backend teams to deliver seamless and engaging mobile experiences. This individual will also help improve development processes, advance CI/CD practices, and promote engineering excellence through modern tools and methodologies. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced Agile environment, demonstrates strong ownership, and is passionate about delivering high-quality iOS applications. Interest in powersports is a plus. Key Responsibilities Software development and design Design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift and modern frameworks (SwiftUI, UIKit as needed) Translate product requirements and UX designs into scalable, high-quality mobile applications Implement modern iOS development patterns (MVVM, modular architecture, dependency injection) Develop asynchronous and reactive components using Combine and/or async/await Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices Develop and execute unit tests and contribute to test automation frameworks Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives System and Team Support Support, maintain, and enhance deployed mobile applications Monitor application performance using logging and observability tools (e.g., Firebase, Sentry) Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, crashes, and performance bottlenecks Collaborate with backend and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration Assist in defining and improving mobile development strategies and technical roadmaps Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes (e.g., Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise) Develop and maintain technical documentation Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies to meet business needs Code and Process Review Participate in peer reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices Review code for maintainability, performance, and scalability Contribute to the definition and evolution of development standards and practices Skill Requirements Required Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in native iOS development using Swift 1+ years of recent experience with SwiftUI Strong understanding of iOS development frameworks, lifecycle, and platform best practices Experience with modern architecture patterns (MVVM) and scalable app design Experience with asynchronous programming (Combine, async/await) Experience integrating RESTful APIs Experience with version control systems (preferably Git) Experience with unit testing and test automation Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to enhance productivity, code quality, and developer efficiency Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise) Strong understanding of performance optimization, debugging, and memory management Experience with logging, monitoring, and crash reporting tools Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Experience with App Projection technologies (e.g., Apple CarPlay or similar) Experience with cloud services and integrations Experience working with mapping APIs (Mapbox, Google Maps) Knowledge of secure coding practices and vulnerability testing techniques Performance testing and optimization experience Experience improving system observability, logging, and error reporting Experience contributing to coding standards and best practices 8+ years of overall software development experience **#body.unify div.unify-button-container .unify-apply-now:** focus, #body.unify div.unify-button-container .unify-apply-#body.unify div.unify-button-container .unify-apply-now: focus, #body.unify div.unify-button-container .unify-apply-
