Job Description - -------------- Job Description: Senior AI Developer Client: Morgan Stanley Location: Bangalore, India Role: Senior AI Developer Experience: 8-12 Years Key Responsibilities . Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML and Generative AI applications. . Build enterprise-grade solutions leveraging LLMs such as GPT, Claude, Llama, and other foundation models. . Develop and optimize RAG architectures using vector databases and enterprise knowledge sources. . Design and implement AI agents and workflow automation solutions. . Integrate AI capabilities into existing applications and business processes. . Build APIs and microservices for AI model consumption and inferencing. . Develop prompt engineering strategies and evaluate model performance. . Fine-tune and optimize foundation models where required. . Ensure AI solutions comply with security, governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements. . Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, and data engineers. . Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design discussions. . Mentor junior engineers and contribute to AI best practices across the organization. . Stay current with emerging AI technologies and industry trends. Required Technical Skills AI / Machine Learning . Strong experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and NLP. . Hands-on experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models. . Experience implementing RAG solutions. . Knowledge of Agentic AI frameworks and autonomous workflows. . Prompt Engineering expertise. . Model evaluation, observability, and monitoring. Programming . Strong proficiency in Python. . Experience with Java/Spring Boot is preferred. . Experience developing REST APIs and microservices. AI Frameworks \& Tools . LangChain . LangGraph . LlamaIndex . Hugging Face . OpenAI / Azure OpenAI . Vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, Azure AI Search) Data \& Engineering . SQL and NoSQL databases . Data pipelines and ETL processes . Apache Kafka or event-driven architectures . CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Cloud Platforms . Azure (preferred) . AWS or GCP . Kubernetes and Docker Required Qualifications . Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related discipline. . 8 years of software development experience. . 3 years of hands-on AI/ML or Generative AI development experience. . Experience delivering production-grade AI solutions at enterprise scale. . Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, design patterns, and system architecture. . Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Preferred Qualifications . Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Capital Markets. . Knowledge of Responsible AI principles and AI governance frameworks. . Experience building Copilot-style assistants and conversational AI platforms. . Azure AI Engineer, AWS ML, or equivalent certifications. . Knowledge of MLOps and model lifecycle management. Soft Skills . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. .
