Job Description - -------------- SI EA -- Export Systems, Siemens Ltd., India, is looking for ***System Engineer***who will be responsible for System Designing and Application Engineering for MV x panels for orders from allocated market/regions. **What will you manage** * Specification \& Documentation * Review customer specifications and ensure clarity in **drawings** and Bill of Materials (BOM). * Maintain accuracy and consistency in engineering documentation. * Execution \& Problem-Solving * Creation complete engineering drawings including GA, SLD, schematic drawings, CT/PT calculation, AC/DC calculations, etc. * Resolve day-to-day execution issues effectively. * Support peers to achieve faster and efficient project execution. * Drawing approval from customers including attending customers / consultant meetings for approval. * Creation of complete loading drawings for factory including BOM. * Collaboration \& Communication * Actively participate in customer discussions and cross-functional team meetings. * Co-ordinating with order manager, DTO (mechanical design team), logistics, drafting vendor etc. * Present and defend engineering opinions confidently. * Performance Monitoring * Maintain and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Quality Objectives for the engineering function. * Ensure compliance with organizational standards. * Continuous Improvement * Identify opportunities to improve KPIs. * Drive initiatives for productivity enhancement and process optimization. **Who are we looking for** * Degree in Electrical Engineering, 10-15 years experience * Good knowledge about **medium voltage power distribution system** and **AIS panels** * Knowledge of engineering drawings and standards**, IS/IEC standards** applicable for MV systems * Hands on Experience/knowledge in **AutoCAD, ELCAD, Promis, E plan, E Base** tools * Experience in handling customers and **EPCs**such as ADNOC, NOC, AADC, QE, TAQA, Technip, Tecnimont, CTJV, etc. is preferred * Knowledge of Protection Philosophy * Expert in control philosophy of substation * Available to travel for national and international business trips **SKILLS and PERSONAL QUALITIES** * Leadership and networking skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers * Capable to interact independently with client for technical discussions * Interpersonal and Communication Skills. * Strong customer focus on both internal and external customers * Should be a team player. * Able to work with minimal supervision. * Able to work in a multinational environment. * Work well under pressure and comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environments
