Job description

Responsibilities • Strong experience in managing enterprise Storage systems • Configure, monitor, and maintain Dell, IBM Storage and NetApp Storage technologies • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently on Storage • Perform storage provisioning, LUN creation, volume groups, and host mappings. • Monitor performance and system health via Storage management consoles and CLI tools. • Configure replication, snapshots, thin clones, and data reduction technologies. • Apply firmware updates, drive replacements, and hardware expansions. • Good understanding of RTO/RPO, disaster recovery, and data lifecycle management. • Troubleshoot storage issues related to performance, replication, and access control. • Provide SAN zoning, iSCSI/FC connectivity, and LUN masking for Linux/Windows/VMware hosts. • Collaborate with virtualization, backup, and database teams to align storage with workload requirements. • Plan and execute disaster recovery simulations and data migration tasks. • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, runbooks, and topology diagrams. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on customer service, including experience handling challenging situations • Detail oriented, customer oriented, result delivery oriented, analytic thinking • Performs incident management and change management execution. • Creates and manages capacity and trending reports of system operations. • Good understanding on ITIL practices • Experience on industry leading IT Asset Management tools such as Service Now/Flexera/Remedy. • Works on assignments where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making choices, recommendations, or decisions. • Works with key technical and business stakeholders to determine data and storage requirements and creates solutions to meet requirements.
