Role Overview • We are seeking a skilled and experienced Citrix Administrator responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Citrix environments. The role requires strong expertise in Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop environments, Windows Server infrastructure, and associated technologies to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security of virtualized application and desktop services. • The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, along with hands-on experience in managing enterprise-scale Citrix deployments. Key Responsibilities 2.1 Citrix Environment Management • Administer and support Citrix XenApp (versions 7.0 and 7.18) and Citrix MCS (Machine Creation Services) environments. • Manage and maintain Citrix StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, and Director. • Oversee application publishing and user access configurations. • Monitor Citrix infrastructure for performance, availability, and capacity. 2.2 Infrastructure & System Support • Manage Windows Server environments (2008, 2012, 2016, 2019). • Support Active Directory, including Group Policy configuration and implementation. • Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft App-V environments. • Administer Citrix Netscaler Gateway for secure remote access. 2.3 Performance & Monitoring • Monitor system performance and implement optimization strategies. • Analyze system logs and proactively identify anomalies or recurring issues. • Manage load evaluators, performance tuning, and resource allocation. 2.4 Incident & Problem Management • Troubleshoot complex issues related to: • Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop • Netscaler Gateway • App-V and application delivery • Investigate root causes and implement long-term fixes. 2.5 Security & Access Management • Ensure secure configuration of Citrix environments. • Manage ICA/RDP protocols and user session security. • Support licensing and compliance for Citrix and Terminal Servers. 2.6 Automation & Tools • Utilize Citrix commands and administrative tools for system management. • Develop or use scripts for automation and operational efficiency (where applicable). • Work with Windows Resource Kit tools and SQL Server for reporting and troubleshooting.
