**Educational Requirements** - Bachelor of Engineering,Bachelor Of Technology **Service Line** - Global Delivery **Responsibilities** - **Role** : Systems Test EngineerLocation: India (with collaboration across global teams) - **Experience** : 3-8 Years - **Domain** : Autonomous Vehicles / Mobility / Embedded Systems / Software Testing **Job Summary** - We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Systems Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies for complex autonomous vehicle systems. - The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating high-level engineering requirements into structured test scenarios, identifying system defects, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to improve product quality and reliability. - The role demands strong logical reasoning, system-level thinking, and expertise in troubleshooting complex software and hardware interactions. **Key Responsibilities** - Design and develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and validation strategies for autonomous driving systems and related software components. - Translate abstract product and engineering requirements into detailed, parameterized testing scenarios. - Execute functional, integration, system, and regression testing activities across multiple environments. - Analyze system behavior, identify defects, isolate root causes, and document findings with clarity and precision. - Perform black-box testing by evaluating system responses without access to underlying source code. - Collaborate with software, systems, simulation, and validation engineers to resolve issues and improve product quality. - Drive test coverage optimization while avoiding redundant test scenarios. - Create detailed bug reports and provide actionable feedback to engineering teams. - Support continuous improvement of testing methodologies, tools, and processes. **Additional Responsibilities:** **Required Qualifications** - Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or related technical discipline. - Master''s degree preferred for candidates with a 3-year undergraduate degree. - Experience in software testing, systems validation, automotive testing, embedded systems testing, or related domains. - Knowledge of test automation frameworks, defect tracking tools, and software development lifecycles. - Familiarity with Linux environments, scripting, and data analysis tools is desirable. **Candidates from the following areas are highly preferred:** - System Test Engineering - Software Quality Assurance - Embedded Systems Validation - Automotive Testing - Autonomous Vehicle Testing - Robotics Testing - Controls Engineering - Simulation & Validation Engineering - Success Factors - Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills. - Strong written and verbal communication abilities. - Ability to work effectively in cross-functional global teams. - Attention to detail and commitment to product quality. - Passion for innovative mobility and autonomous vehicle technologies. **Technical and Professional Requirements:** - **Required Skills & Competencies** - Test Architecture - Strong logical and analytical thinking. - Ability to decompose complex system behaviors into structured and scalable test cases. - Experience creating end-to-end validation strategies and ensuring comprehensive test coverage. - Domain TranslationAbility to understand operational and engineering concepts and transform them into measurable test requirements. - Strong systems-thinking and problem-solving capabilities. - Black-Box Troubleshooting - Expertise in identifying system states, isolating variables, and validating workarounds. - Strong defect investigation and debugging skills. - Ability to create concise, high-quality defect reports for development teams. **Preferred Skills:** - Domain-> Automotive-> Automotive - Systems - Domain-> Internet of Things (IOT)-> Automotive
