**Role/Job Title: Process Associate** - (Mortgage Pre-underwriter/Underwriter) **Job Description:** Pre -Underwriting: Pre-underwriting is a provisional process that validates borrowers' documents, evaluates Capacity, Capital, Collateral & Credit and take decision on applicant's overall borrowing ability, further basis on review pre underwriter sent the file to Underwriting team for final decision with their recommendation. **Person Specification:** - Proven work experience as a Mortgage Underwriter or similar role - Highly organized and able to prioritize. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Detail-oriented with strong data analysis skills. " **Previous experience:** 1 to 3 year of experience in mortgage underwriter process **Competencies/Skills:** - They must be able to review borrower's Capacity, Capital, Collateral & Credit and take decision on overall applicant's borrowing ability. - Ability to handle and Analyse loan applications to determine if they meet the lender's criteria. - Underwriters need a range of technical skills, including proficiency in underwriting guidelines, investor guidelines, and credit analysis. - Excellent Communication Skills (verbal & written) and Flexible to work in UK shift timing" **Qualifications:** A bachelor's degree in business or finance is preferred ***"TCS does not charge any fee at any stage of the recruitment & selection process.
