Join us redefine what’s next for you. **Responsibilities** **What you’ll do:** - Tax department role with people management responsibility; primary liaison with Finance Systems Architecture and broader Finance/IT delivery teams; role locations: Bangalore, India and Wroclaw, Poland. - Owns the tax technology and reporting enablement roadmap from a Tax perspective (intake, prioritization, business case, scope, and outcomes) and provides strong program management to drive cross-functional execution with partner teams. - Interprets tax policy and compliance requirements and translates them into clear functional requirements, data definitions, and controls; designs reusable approaches to address similar reporting requirements across jurisdictions and entities. - Partners with Finance Systems Architecture and IT delivery teams on solution architecture decisions, ensuring tax requirements are correctly embedded; defines acceptance criteria, supports testing/UAT from the Tax standpoint, and approves that tax policy needs are met (implementation/configuration owned by delivery teams). - Owns tax data and reporting pipelines (source-to-report) including standard data mapping, reconciliations, and workpaper outputs; governs design and ongoing enhancements delivered through partner teams to improve traceability, data quality, and cycle times. - Defines and maintains tax policy-driven controls, documentation standards, and audit-ready evidence requirements for tax data, reporting pipelines, and tax-relevant system outputs; partners with control owners on SOX/ITGC alignment. - Monitors regulatory and business changes (e.g., e-invoicing/e-reporting mandates, new filing requirements) and leads impact assessment, requirement definition, and prioritization; ensures sustainable, repeatable solutioning for recurring reporting needs. - Establishes governance routines (steerco, design reviews, risk/issue forums) and communicates status, risks, and decisions across Tax, Finance Systems Architecture, and delivery teams, drives adoption through clear guidance and training on standards and processes. - Partners on vendor and solution evaluations to ensure fit to tax policy and compliance requirements; contributes to selection criteria, tax functional design, and service expectations while delivery teams execute implementation. - Leads and develops a high-performing team focused on tax requirements governance, tax data/reporting standards, and compliance enablement; provides coaching, performance management, and capability building. - Defines program and operational metrics (e.g., time-to-close, exception rates, data quality, reusability/standard adoption) and drives continuous improvement through standardization and repeatable solution patterns. **What You Need To Bring** ***Education and Experience Required:*** - First-level university degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred. - Typically, 8+ years of experience spanning tax, finance systems, data/analytics, and/or technology delivery; experience supporting global tax processes strongly preferred. - Typically, 2+ years of people management experience and demonstrated strength in program management (driving cross-functional roadmaps, governance, dependencies, and executive communication). **Knowledge And Skills** - Strong understanding of tax process domains (direct and/or indirect) and how tax requirements translate into systems, data, and controls. - Strong familiarity with tax technology platforms and/or tax engines (e.g., Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE, Vertex, Avalara, Sovos, SAP tax solutions) and end-to-end data flows/integrations to ERP systems; able to define tax functional requirements and validate outcomes. - Strong data skills (e.g., SQL, data modeling, reconciliations) and experience governing automated data/reporting pipelines; comfortable partnering with engineering/analytics teams using ETL/automation and visualization tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, Python or similar). - Exceptional program management skills (roadmap planning, governance, dependency management, risk/issue management, and change management) with the ability to lead without direct control over implementation teams. - Controls mindset and experience designing and operating process/IT controls (e.g., SOX, audit support, documentation standards) in a regulated environment. - Proven ability to partner effectively with Finance Systems Architecture and technical teams, translating tax policy into scalable requirements, data models, and repeatable solution patterns. - Strong people leadership skills, including hiring, coaching, performance manage
