**Role & responsibilities** **ServiceNow ITOM Developer** **Location: Chennai** **Experience: 4+ Years** **Job Summary** We are seeking a skilled **ServiceNow ITOM Developer** with expertise in implementing and configuring ITOM suite components, integrations, and scripting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of infrastructure environments, monitoring tools, and ServiceNow platform capabilities. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and implement ServiceNow ITOM suite components, including: - CSDM - CMDB - Discovery - Service Mapping - Event Management - Understand infrastructure environment setup (Server, Network, Storage, etc.). - Work with monitoring tools and integrate them with ServiceNow. - Perform unit testing, system integration testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing. - Create repeatable processes for development, testing, staging, and production environments ensuring reliability and high availability. - Develop integrations using REST API, SOAP, or other technologies. - Work with base platform features and reporting capabilities. - Adhere to Agile/Scrum methodology and ITIL standards. - Ensure compliance with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). **Required Qualifications** - **ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator**. - Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology. - Basic understanding of ITIL/industry standards. - Familiarity with SDLC processes. **Technical Skills** - ServiceNow ITOM suite (CSDM, CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management). - Basic knowledge of Cloud fundamentals and Windows/Unix administration. - Intermediate understanding of infrastructure environments. - Scripting and RegEx expertise: - JavaScript - Unix Shell scripting - Windows scripting - PowerShell - Integration experience using REST API, SOAP, JDBC, SFTP. **Behavioral Competencies** - Effective verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. - Strong interpersonal skills for collaborative teamwork. - Ability to participate and provide feedback during planning meetings (pre-iteration and retrospectives). **Preferred Certifications** - ITIL V3/V4 Foundation Certification. - ServiceNow certifications in Discovery, Event Management, and Service Mapping. **Preferred candidate profile**
