**Role & responsibilities** - **Strong WPF,** **.Net MVC core WebAPI, C# .NET 4.0 expertise, RESTful** - Expertise on MS Visual Studio - Experience with consuming RESTful API and JSON - Enterprise or commercial development expertise - Experience working using Agile methodology - UML experience and expertise on tools like MS Visio, Enterprise Architect etc. - XML experience - MVVM experience - Proficiency in writing strong unit tests and using unit testing frameworks and mocking frameworks like JustMock, MOQ etc. - Experience integrating with 3rd party APIs (Facebook, Twitter, Google Maps, etc.) - Experience in VSTS TFVC source control system - SOAP/Web services experience - A demonstrated ability to work in a highly-collaborative team environment - Other required skills include: - Experience working in a large, fast-paced project environment - Strong work ethic is a must - Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills - Self-starter needing minimal direction - Quick learner - Proactive- Must be willing to seek out information and solutions that are pertinent to their responsibilities and key to their delivery - Must be willing to remediate and refactor code written by others - Team player attitude with a focus on the success of the team is a MUST - Must be able to work in a structured development environment and follow coding standards and design patterns. - Proactively collaborates with other teams/team members (UX, Enterprise Architecture, Business Analysts, Information Security, onshore/offshore vendors, other development teams) across global time zones with the upmost professionalism, tact and resolve - Ability to deliver high quality features within a development cycle - Experience developing, deploying or supporting commercial, customer-facing solutions **Preferred Skills** - Visual Studio 2017 - .Net Framework v4.6.x - .Net Core - .Net Standard Library - **redis** - **docker** - **express** - **nodeJS** - **mongoDB** - **NGINX** - **MS** **Azure** - **Tools: npm, BABEL, WebStorm, Visual Studio Team Services** - Web technology frameworks like ASP.Net MVC 5.1, Unity for dependency injection and Razor view engine - VSTS GIT - JIRA experience - Mercury ALM experience - HP Fortify experience - WiX Toolset - Travel industry applications development experience
