Role: AWS Data Engineer Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain scalable **data pipelines** on AWS - Develop and optimize **ETL/ELT processes** - Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets - Implement **data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time data processing systems** - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, Analysts, and Architects - Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards - Monitor and troubleshoot production issues Required Skills: - Strong experience with **AWS Data Services**: - AWS Glue - S3 - Redshift - Lambda - EMR / Kinesis (preferred) - Experience in **Python / PySpark / SQL** - Strong knowledge of **data warehousing concepts** - Hands-on with **ETL tools & frameworks** - Experience with **big data technologies** (Spark, Hadoop – added advantage) - Familiarity with **CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices** - Knowledge of **data modeling & performance tuning** Good to Have: - Experience in **real-time data streaming (Kafka/Kinesis)** - Exposure to **Snowflake / Databricks** - Understanding of **data governance and security standards** - AWS certifications
