The role involves analyzing market trends, material indices, cost structures, total cost of ownership (TCO), procurement data, and supplier performance to support strategic sourcing initiatives. The objective is to optimize purchasing decisions, drive cost savings, improve supply chain efficiency, and maximize business value through data-driven insights and effective category strategies. **Responsibilities:** - Analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements. - Develop dashboards and reports to monitor procurement KPIs and supplier performance. - Assess supplier capabilities, pricing, and compliance with contractual terms. - Support vendor selection and onboarding processes. - Drive supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery and quality compliance. - Create sourcing projects within ERP systems. - Conduct commercial negotiations with suppliers. - Manage stakeholder expectations and business requirements. - Perform risk analysis and mitigation planning. - Conduct market intelligence and market trend analysis. - Perform spend analysis to identify optimization opportunities. - Drive Capex and Opex savings initiatives as a key performance objective. - Lead bid evaluation and supplier selection activities. - Create and maintain savings reports using Power BI. - Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements. - Identify inefficiencies in procurement workflows and recommend improvements. - Support automation and digitization initiatives within procurement operations. - Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements. - Monitor contract terms and proactively identify risks or deviations. - Apply category management principles and leverage the Kraljic Matrix to drive strategic procurement decisions and maximize business value.
