What we can offer you is a space to explore varied technologies and quench your techie soul. **Key Responsibilities** - 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure development, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and solutions. - Deep understanding of GCP core services (such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud SQL/BigQuery) and how to architect systems using these components. - Proven experience in designing cloud architecture, including high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability for enterprise applications. Familiarity with architecture frameworks and best practices (e.g., multi-zone deployments, microservices, etc.). - Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools (especially Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or equivalent) to provision and manage cloud resources programmatically - Strong grasp of cloud security principles and GCP Identity and Access Management (IAM). Ability to implement network security (VPC design, firewall rules) and data security (encryption, key management) on GCP. - Proficiency in scripting or software development (Python, Go, or Bash) to create automation scripts, integrate services via APIs, and streamline cloud operations - Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience with monitoring tools (Stackdriver/Cloud Monitoring) for diagnosing performance issues. Strong - organizational and communication skills, with ability to collaborate in DevOps or agile teams - Cloud Solution Design: Architect and implement robust cloud-based solutions on GCP, selecting appropriate services (computing, storage, databases, networking) to meet functional and non-functional requirements of enterprise applications. - Infrastructure Deployment & Automation: Use Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform scripts) to provision and manage GCP resources such as VM instances, containers (GKE clusters), serverless functions, and CI/CD pipelines. Ensure repeatability and consistency in environment setups. - Cloud Service Management: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of GCP services including compute resources, managed databases, data processing services (BigQuery, Dataflow), and others as necessary. Continuously optimize for cost and performance. - Security & Compliance: Implement cloud security best practices, including managing user roles and permissions with GCP IAM, setting up virtual private networks/VPCs, and ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory security standards. Perform regular security audits and risk assessments of the cloud infrastructure. - Monitoring & Optimization: Configure cloud monitoring and logging solutions to track system performance and reliability. Proactively address issues by tuning resources (e.g., scaling instances or adjusting network configurations) and performing root cause analysis for any incidents or outages. - Collaboration & Support: Work closely with development teams to provide the cloud environment needed for application deployment and testing. Assist with setting up CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and environment configurations. Provide guidance and support to other team members (developers, DevOps, etc.) in using GCP tools and adhering to best practices **Minimum Qualification: 15 years of full-time education**
