Job description

**Location** - Chennai **Exp** - 8-10 years **Skills** - Network Administrator Switching Routing, Palo Alto Firewall **Responsibilities** - Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto Next‑Generation Firewalls. - Implement and maintain security policies, NAT, zones, security profiles, and application‑based rules. - Support firewall HA, device upgrades, and license management. - Troubleshoot traffic flow, policy enforcement, and performance issues. - Work closely with security teams to ensure compliance and risk mitigation. - Configure and support F5 BIG‑IP (LTM/GTM). - Manage Virtual Servers, Pools, iRules, Profiles, and Health Monitors. - Troubleshoot application availability and traffic distribution issues. - Support SSL offloading, persistence, and failover configurations. - Perform upgrades, patches, and optimization activities. - Design, implement, and support Data Center network infrastructure (Core, Aggregation, Access). - Configure and manage L2/L3 technologies including VLANs, STP, LACP, OSPF, BGP, and VRRP/HSRP. - Troubleshoot complex network latency, packet drops, routing loops, and convergence issues. - Support HA, redundancy, and resilient network designs. - Support DC migrations, expansions, and network refresh activities. - Strong expertise in TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, and redundancy protocols. - Hands‑on experience with enterprise routing and switching platforms (Cisco / Arista / Aruba / Juniper). - Act as L2 / L3 escalation point for critical P1/P2 Network incidents. - Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement permanent corrective actions. - Coordinate with vendors/TAC (Palo Alto, F5, Networking OEMs) for complex issues. - Participate in change management, CAB reviews, and maintenance windows. - Ensure adherence to ITIL processes for Incident, Problem, and Change Management. - Experience working in ITIL‑based environments (Incident, Problem, Change). - Ability to work under pressure in business‑critical environments. - Experience in maintenance activities, upgrades, and change implementation. - Strong troubleshooting and analytical mindset. - Clear communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. - Ownership and accountability for critical infrastructure. - Mentoring and collaboration skills.
