**Location-** Chennai - Kochi - Pune **Exp** -4-8 **Skills** -SW - Asset Management **Responsibility** - Proven experience (10+ years ) and a strong understanding of Software Asset Management processes, frameworks and negotiations, effective license positions and techniques - Experience with a Software Asset Management toolset: Flexera, SNOW or similar (desirable) - Solid industry knowledge of software licensing with Tier 1 vendors (Oracle, IBM, Microsoft, SAP, Adobe) - Certified SAM related qualification (desirable) - Proven experience and good knowledge of licensing terms and conditions, product usage rights and "real world" licensing issues gained from working with vendor products - Deep analysis experience including working with multiple data sources, liaising with various teams to understand processes and requirements, analysing detailed information, producing recommendations and proactively delivering on actions - Understanding of end-user computing, networks and infrastructure technology - Strong analytical and problem solving skills - Strong written & verbal communication skills with experience of liaising with IT staff, senior IT management, key business stakeholders and suppliers − can demonstrate the ability to explain complex issues succinctly and with clarity, both in writing or orally - Excellent documentation and presentation skills and attention to detail - Highly motivated and dynamic self-starter who can work proactively and under pressure, exhibiting strong time management & self-prioritization skills - Strong commercial and financial awareness - Familiarity or experience working with third party onshore and offshore service providers and partners - Ability to interpret data from various unlinked data sources and combine into a coherent license reconciliation position - Advanced level Excel - Strong teamwork and collaboration - Attention to detail - can demonstrate taking pride in work and ensuring it is of the highest standards - Organisational ability - can show capability to manage a variety of competing tasks and issues, prioritising appropriately and escalating where necessary - Drive - motivated by challenges, responding positively to them.
