**Location** - Chennai **Exp** -8-10 **Skills** -VMware **Responsibilities** - Active Directory (Domain Services, GPO, security, etc.) - Core Infrastructure Systems (Windows / VMware), Virtualization/Hypervisor - Internal Certificate Authority - Azure AD including AD Connect server systems (SSO) - Microsoft Identity Management (MIM) - Network Policy Services (NPS) \\*Includes wireless SSL. - File & Print Server Management - Key Management Service (KMS) - Perform Physical Server Management such as, Firmware upgrade, Coordinate with Vendor for any hardware failure, maintain warranty of the hardware and roadmap, provide general for the operating system that are hosted in the physical servers. - Server Deployment - Build, scale, and secure corporate infrastructure, focusing specifically on virtual and cloud environments. - Work with product owners to deliver server infrastructure solutions for their business products. - Combine open-source and commercial technologies to build services that will have an impact on the business. - Work in a heterogeneous environment containing diverse operating systems and applications. - Find ways to leverage the scale and complexity of the larger infrastructure to solve problems for Enterprise customers. - Final escalation points for issues related to Windows server and virtualization systems. - Produce systems that are scalable, automated, and well-documented, and train others to take on day-2 operations. - Designs, develops, and implements server systems and software applications such as Active Directory, NPS, etc. - Configuring new DHCP servers, migration of DHCP scopes and decommission of DHCP servers, Active Directory promotion and demotion tasks. - AD role management, migration, and DNS management. - Create technical design specifications with respective enterprise server technology such as Windows, VMware, and Active Directory. - Supports, operates, and maintains server systems and software applications such as Active Directory, NPS, etc. - Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. - Remains current with industry trends to conceive, prototype and recommend technical approaches for IT systems and solutions that meet business needs. - Performance troubleshooting, tuning and Root Cause Analysis of Windows OS issues (slowness issues, analyzing crash dumps, event analysis etc.) - Upgrade activities related to Operating system versions. - Provide support on Virtual Environment, Server HW/SW, Active Directory, Azure, etc. - Troubleshooting AD replication and ADFS sync related issues. - Development of PowerShell scripts to optimize the tasks and execution. - Perform Active Directory auditing, event management, Group policy configurations and NTP configuration related tasks. - File server management (configuration of new file servers, File server decommission, DFS configuration and troubleshooting, configuring File server policies etc.) - Printer server management (setting up new print servers, adding printers to AD, print queue management, decommissioning print servers). - KMS configuration and management (Install and configure KMS service, Key management). - Managing and configuring NPS (radius) servers. - Installation and configuration of new ESXi hosts. - ESXi Upgrades to New versions. - Create and manage ESXi clusters. - Perform Installation, configuration, and upgrade activities w.r.t vCenter server. - Capacity analysis and forecasting of VMware environment. - Cisco USC configuration and management (firmware upgrades, ILO configurations, Fiber Interconnect management). - Performance troubleshooting, log analysis and RCA for ESXi hosts / Virtual Machine Issues. - Configure virtual storage and storage policies (VMFS upgrades, Datastore management). - Configure virtual networking (DVswitch configuration, standard switch configuration, migration from Standard to DVswitches, DVswitch upgrades). - P2V conversion / V2V conversion activities. - Decommission activities related to ESXi hosts, clusters, datastores. - Access management related to VMware environment. - Implement defined security standards and provide infrastructure.
