Job description

**Key Responsibilities :** **1. Statutory & Labour Law Compliance** - Ensure compliance with applicable Indian labour laws including: - Code on Wages, 2019 - Industrial Relations Code, 2020 - Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020 - Code on Social Security, 2020 - Monitor state-specific Shops & Establishment compliance. - Liaise with external consultants, labour authorities, and legal advisors. - Conduct internal compliance audits and risk assessments. - Maintain statutory registers and ensure timely filings. **2. Workplace Investigations & Governance** - Lead and manage internal investigations related to: - Misconduct and disciplinary matters - Policy and Ethical violations - POSH cases under Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 - Support Internal Committee processes and documentation. - Draft investigation eports with legally defensible recommendations. - Ensure principles of natural justice and procedural fairness. **3. Policy & Governance Framework** - Draft, review, and update HR policies aligned with evolving labour codes. - Create SOPs for grievance redressal, disciplinary process, and escalation matrix. - Ensure compliance with code of conduct and ethics framework. - Drive compliance awareness sessions for managers and employees. **4. Risk Mitigation & Advisory** - Provide advisory support to BHRs, HRBPs and business leaders on statutory risks. - Manage labour disputes and support legal case documentation. - Prepare compliance dashboards and reports for leadership review. - Support audits (internal, statutory, and client audits). **Required Criteria -** **5. Educational Qualifications** - Masters degree in HR / Labour Law / Industrial Relations / MSW (HR) / LLB preferred - Certification in Labour Laws / POSH preferred - Investigation certification (if available) is an added advantage **6. Required Experience & Skills** - 57 years of experience in HR Compliance / Employee Relations / Labour Law/ Industrial Relations - Strong knowledge of Indian labour codes and state labour laws - Hands-on experience in conducting domestic enquiries and POSH investigations - Experience interacting with labour authorities and external counsel - Strong documentation and report-writing skills - High integrity and confidentiality standards - Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills - Preferred Industry Exposure - IT / ITES / Corporate / MNC environment - Multi-state operations exposure **7.
