We treasure every talent, and recognize merit and diversity in our organization. **Job Description** We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Team Lead - Purification to join our organization in Hyderabad, India. In this role, you will lead a team of purification specialists, overseeing the execution of purification processes while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for optimizing purification operations, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring that all team members are equipped with the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of purification technicians and specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability - Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of purification processes to ensure consistent quality and efficiency - Analyze process data and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions - Ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and regulatory requirements (GMP/cGMP) - Manage equipment maintenance schedules and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime - Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality assurance, production, and research and development - Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, batch records, and compliance reports - Drive process optimization initiatives to improve yield, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency - Conduct training sessions and onboarding programs for new team members - Ensure workplace safety protocols are followed and maintain a safe working environment - Report on key performance indicators and progress against operational targets to senior management **Qualifications** - Minimum 5+ years of experience in purification operations or related field within pharmaceutical, chemical, or biotech industries - Proven experience in a team leadership or supervisory role managing technical staff - Strong expertise in purification techniques such as chromatography, filtration, distillation, or crystallization - In-depth knowledge of GMP/cGMP compliance and regulatory requirements - Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting process data using statistical tools and software - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues - Strong project management capabilities with experience in process optimization initiatives - Proficiency in creating and maintaining technical documentation and standard operating procedures - Knowledge of quality assurance principles and batch record management - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members - Proficiency in relevant laboratory information management systems (LIMS) or manufacturing execution systems (MES) - Preferred: Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement certifications - Preferred: Experience with equipment validation and qualification protocols - Preferred: Background in training and development of technical staff **Additional Information** **About the Department** **Biologics** Currently operates in the Global Biosimilars business - a segment that is poised for attractive and sustained growth over the next 10–15-year time horizon.
