**Location:** Udaipur, Rajasthan **Industry Preference:** Agrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Fine Chemicals, Specialty Chemicals **About the Role** We are looking for an experienced Environment professional to lead environmental compliance, sustainability initiatives, waste management, and pollution control operations at our R&D facility. The role will be responsible for driving ESG goals, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing waste treatment systems, and implementing best-in-class environmental practices. **Key Responsibilities** **Environmental Strategy & Sustainability** - Drive environmental excellence by implementing industry best practices and continuous improvement initiatives. - Lead ESG-related environmental goals and sustainability programs. - Ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, statutory requirements, and voluntary standards. - Develop and execute strategies for energy efficiency, resource conservation, recycling, pollution reduction, and waste minimization. - Evaluate and implement advanced technologies for waste treatment and pollution control. - Collaborate with engineering teams and external agencies for planning, commissioning, and operation of new environmental facilities. **Operations & Compliance** - Ensure efficient operation of ETP, RO, ZLD, and other environmental facilities. - Monitor emissions, effluents, and waste management activities to meet regulatory and company standards. - Supervise hazardous and non-hazardous waste segregation, treatment, storage, and disposal. - Drive capacity enhancement and efficiency improvement initiatives in waste treatment systems. - Conduct environmental audits, inspections, regulatory assessments, and ensure closure of identified action items. - Develop environmental monitoring systems and sustainability reporting mechanisms. - Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations on environmental performance. - Ensure effective implementation of environmental policies across laboratories and operational areas. **Team Management** - Lead, guide, and mentor the environment team. - Conduct training programs on environmental compliance, waste treatment, and sustainability practices. - Support troubleshooting and operational problem-solving for environmental facilities. **Candidate Profile** **Education** - M.Sc. (Environmental Science/Chemistry) OR - B.E./B.Tech (Chemical Engineering / Environmental Engineering) **Experience** - 10-14 years of experience in Environmental Management, Waste Treatment, ETP, STP, RO, ZLD, and Pollution Control Systems. - Experience in Agrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Fine Chemical, Specialty Chemical, or related manufacturing industries. Technical Skills - Hands-on experience in operation and troubleshooting of waste treatment systems and pollution control equipment. - Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, compliance requirements, and regulatory approvals. - Knowledge of ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems. - Expertise in hazardous waste management and sustainability practices. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
