Role Description Job Title: Software Engineer-Full Stack Job Details Business Unit: Tech & Digital Team: Ops Digitization (Retail & Wholesale) Reports to: Team Lead - Automation Factory Location: Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore , Gurgaon Job Function: Software Development Role Type: Individual Contributor No of direct reportees: 0 Travel Required: Moderate Job Band Range: E1 – E3 JD Created/Updated date: 25-02-2024 Version No: 1.0 Job Purpose The Software Engineer-Full Stack will be part of a software development team, focusing on developing and working on enterprise-grade software systems across multiple technologies. The role involves working on both the back-end and front-end of systems, writing clean, functional code, and testing/fixing bugs. Job Responsibilities Interpret written technical specification documents. Discuss scope with Team Leader. Understand requirements from a technical perspective. Evaluate the impact of new development/changes. Understand documents in detail. Perform coding to written technical specifications. Write code and perform self-level code reviews. Conduct Unit Testing. Maintain code repository. Perform maintenance programming and correct identified defects. Check and resolve all reported defects. Assign cases to the testing team and update users/AMT. Perform coding as per application security standards, following ISG-defined coding standards. Take sign-off on all identified points by ISG in code review. Share project knowledge with ISG for clarifications. Ensure security measures are followed. Educational Qualifications BE / BTech / BSc. (All Streams) / BCA / MCA Other Graduates with NIIT / Tech. Institute. Key Skills Strong knowledge of Microsoft / Open Source Technologies (web and windows). Proficient in C# / VB.NET / JAVA / Xamarin form / ASP.NET / .Net Core / Python / C++ / Ruby / Angular / React / Power platform with knowledge of their ecosystems. Familiarity with 3-tier/n-tier architecture. Efficient in SQL server / Oracle / Postgre SQL / MongoDB. Advanced skills in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Ajax, and jQuery. Strong Communication skills. Experience Required Strong knowledge of Microsoft / Open Source Technologies (web and windows). Proficient in C# / VB.NET / JAVA / Xamarin form / ASP.NET / .Net Core / Python / C++ / Ruby / Angular / React / Power platform with knowledge of their ecosystems. Familiarity with 3-tier/n-tier architecture. Advanced skills in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Ajax, and jQuery. Experience in implementation of Test-Driven Development, Unit Testing, and Web Services. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming. Efficient in SQL server / Oracle / Postgre SQL / MongoDB. Skill for writing reusable libraries. Minimum experience: 2+ years.
