**Job Description** **Required Information Details** 1 Role\\*\\* Subject Matter Expert or Tech Lead (Tools & Observability) 2 Required Technical Skill Set\\*\\* Enterprise Monitoring & Observability Tools for Onprem & Cloud : (Datadog, Zabbix, Device42 3 No of Requirements\\*\\* 2 4 Desired Experience Range\\*\\* 6-10 Years of Experience 5 Location of Requirement- Chennai 6 Mode of Interview- Walking Drive 7 Location for the Interview- TCS, Kumaran Nagar, 415/21-24, TNHB Main Rd, Shollinganalur Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600120 8 Date of Interview- 20-06-2026 (Saturday) **Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)** **Must-Have\\*\\*(** Ideally should not be more than 3-5) 1. Expert-level knowledge in Monitoring Rule setting up and configuring of Datadog, Zabbix, Device42 Deep experience conducting Enterprise Tools Assessments and integrating alerts/metrics from legacy APM, network, and infrastructure monitoring tools. **Good-to-Have** 1. Broad familiarity supporting and assessing monitoring and observability landscapes (e.g., Device42, SolarWinds). 2. ITIL V4 Foundation certification with good process knowledge in Incident, Problem, and Change Management. 3. Flexible to work in Off hour / Weekend shift. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. **Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role** 1 Unified Dashboarding: Architect and implement single-pane-of-glass reporting using Grafana/Datadog, integrating data from Splunk, AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Thousand Eyes, Imperva, and Ansible. 2 Tools Assessment & Consolidation: Evaluate the current IT landscape (Datadog, Zabbix, ServiceNow, SolarWinds, etc.) to drive consolidation and optimize the target state. 3 Enterprise Discovery: Deploy and maintain Device42 for automated infrastructure discovery, application dependency mapping, and continuous CI synchronization with ServiceNow. 4 Backend Automation: Implement ticket-based and non-ticket-based routine operational automations leveraging Ansible.
