**Introduction** Act as the technical bridge between global app partners and Visteon's engineering, QA, and other teams. Own the technical onboarding of third-party applications onto the AAOS App Store from the first integration call through APK review, defect resolution, and validation readiness across OEM vehicle programs. This role is central to scaling the app portfolio as the platform expands to new OEMs and markets. What Youll Do - Guide app partners through AllGo/AAOS integration – technical requirements, APK specifications, manifest configuration, and Google dependency restrictions - Review submitted APKs and supporting documentation for manifest, permissions, target SDK, and signing compliance - Coordinate integration and issue resolution across the partner, QA, platform engineering, and product to keep releases on track - Perform first-level checks on emulators and OEM head units to confirm APK readiness before handover to the validation team - Triage defects first-hand – analyse logcat, bugreports, and dumpsys to isolate root cause - Drive defects to closure with partner developers and verify fixes on target hardware before re-submission - Own the central technical repository – integration guides, API reference, and sample applications - Own onboarding templates – APK submission checklist, DDG checklist, and defect report format - Convert every resolved defect into a troubleshooting entry; maintain the RCA and known-issues library - Maintain the OEM requirements matrix so partners receive accurate, program-specific guidance - Own catalogue operations – app categorisation, metadata, store listings, and country availability - Complete partner security and privacy questionnaires; track data protection status across the portfolio - Support OEM engagements with technical collateral, demos, and integration documentation **Must Have** - Hands-on debugging using ADB and logcat, able to isolate root cause from a crash or ANR trace - Comfortable installing, testing, and validating APKs on emulators and physical head units - Working knowledge of AndroidManifest configuration, permissions, and APK build/signing - Experience working directly with external developers or partners in a technical capacity - Experience building or maintaining developer-facing documentation (portal, SDK guides, or similar) - Strong written English – partner emails, defect summaries, and OEM-facing documentation - Ownership mindset, comfortable running multiple partner threads and OEM programs in parallel - AI-native working style, actively uses AI tools to analyse, document, and respond faster **Requirements** - Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field – or equivalent hands-on experience - 4–7 years in Android development, integration engineering, or technical account management - Strong understanding of Android application architecture and lifecycle (Java / Kotlin) - Prior experience in Automotive domain (IVI / AAOS / Embedded Android / Digital Cockpit) - Familiarity with android applications, media templates, DRM playback, and SDK or API integrations - Working knowledge of Jira, Git, basic Linux, and CI/CD concepts - Understanding of driver distraction guidelines and automotive UX constraints - Exposure to app store ecosystems, app certification, or OEM validation programs - Fluent in spoken and written English, must be comfortable working with global OEMs and partners
