Technical Architect successfully designs and manages the delivery of complex Salesforce solutions for our customers. These technologies include—but are not necessarily limited to Salesforce products and APIs, Apex/Visualforce, Lightning, mobile development technologies, and integration/ETL technologies. You are both a big picture thinker and in-depth problem solver, your knowledge and skills are both broad and deep. You take pride in designing systems that stand up to high volumes and won't fail at critical points. You have a good mix of technical and enterprise skills when it comes to architecting a solution, including knowing how to leverage AI development tools like Claude and GitHub Copilot to optimize code quality and accelerate design cycles. The solutions you design are built for the long-term and will scale with the customer's growth plans seamlessly. You have proven experience integrating systems via API's as well as a strong development background. What You'll Actually Be Doing • Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and set and manage expectations • Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform, including identifying opportunities to embed autonomous AI capabilities using Agentforce • Drive Enterprise AI Architecture by designing and integrating scalable predictive and generative AI solutions within custom Salesforce environments, optimizing performance, resource consumption, and platform governor limits • Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives; identify gaps between client's current and desired end states, using advanced LLMs like Claude to review architectural assumptions and simulate system edge cases • Provide oversight and governance of Salesforce projects, championing an AI-First Delivery & Engineering methodology by utilizing advanced AI tools, developer assistants (e.g., Cursor, Claude), and agentic evaluation frameworks to accelerate implementation • Follow and help define coding standards. Lead code reviews during projects to ensure quality and appropriate design patterns are followed, utilizing AI coding assistants to help enforce standards and optimize code performance • Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation, championing the team's use of tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate the generation of Apex classes, mock data, and REST integrations • Focus on Performance Evaluation & ROI by collaborating with customers to develop evaluation frameworks to measure AI performance and business value for their specific use cases • Maintain a target billable utilization aligned to the role • Ability to understand a project and deep dive to debug issues, leveraging AI diagnostics to interpret system logs and isolate performance bottlenecks quickly • From time-to-time, the TA may be expected to partake in other pre-sales activities such as discovery and technical deep-dive sessions, Proof-Of-Concept (POC) development with prospects using AI tools to build prototypes rapidly • Liaise with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations • Engage with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders, leveraging Japanese language fluency to build trust and deliver effective communication in the Japan market • Travels to client sites for projects, estimated 50-75% You're Our Person If... • Degree or equivalent proven experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core proficiencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.) • Business-level Japanese language proficiency (written and spoken) — required for client-facing engagements in the Japan market • 9-14 years CRM experience with a minimum of 6 years on the Salesforce platform • Expert level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Community, Marketing, and Community Clouds, as well as an understanding of Agentforce architecture • Understanding of systems architecture and ability t
