Technical Architect - ServiceMax We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect - ServiceMax - with 10+ years of expertise in designing, governing, and delivering enterprise-scale ServiceMax and Salesforce solutions. This role will lead architecture strategy for global field service transformation programs, ensuring scalable, secure, integrated, and business-aligned solutions that support standardized global processes and country-specific rollout needs. Key Responsibilities • Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams to translate field service requirements into scalable ServiceMax architecture, solution designs, and technical specifications. • Redesign and standardize field service processes to improve operational efficiency, technician productivity, dispatcher effectiveness, and customer experience. • Own end-to-end ServiceMax solution architecture, design governance, and technical decision-making across global programs, ensuring alignment with business requirements, enterprise architecture standards, and industry best practices. • Define the global ServiceMax template architecture and manage controlled country-specific localization, including regional process variations, deployment sequencing, training readiness, change management, and hypercare support. • Architect enterprise integrations between ServiceMax, Salesforce, ERP platforms, middleware, mobile applications, and enterprise data platforms using appropriate API-led and event-driven integration patterns. • Ensure platform capabilities and solution designs meet non-functional requirements, including scalability, performance, security, resilience, monitoring, maintainability, and supportability. • Define and govern end-to-end data migration strategies for ServiceMax implementations, including legacy data assessment, cleansing, mapping, transformation, validation, cutover planning, and post-migration reconciliation. • Drive digital transformation initiatives by modernizing field service operations, enabling automation, improving technician and dispatcher experiences, and aligning ServiceMax capabilities with enterprise transformation objectives. • Provide technical leadership to administrators, developers, QA engineers, integration teams, and business analysts, ensuring consistent delivery standards, design quality, and adherence to best practices. • Lead cross-functional collaboration across business, IT, integration, data, security, and regional rollout teams to align solution decisions with program priorities and stakeholder expectations. • Maintain a forward-looking technology roadmap for ServiceMax and related Salesforce capabilities, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, innovation, and platform optimization. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline. • 10+ years of experience in technical architecture, solution design, and enterprise application delivery, with strong expertise in ServiceMax, Salesforce Service Cloud, and field service transformation programs. • Proven experience designing and delivering ServiceMax capabilities, including configuration, custom extensions, workflows, integrations, mobile enablement, and global deployment models. • Deep understanding of field service management processes, including work order management, installed base, preventive maintenance, dispatching, scheduling, technician mobility, entitlements, and service operations. • Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture, security model, data model, integration patterns, environment strategy, release management, and governance practices. • Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical problem solving, manage architectural risks, and make pragmatic design decisions in large-scale enterprise programs. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to executive, business, and technical audiences.
