**Role & responsibilities** As a Senior Technical Business Analyst, youll lead the translation of complex business needs into clear, testable technical requirements and partner closely with product, engineering, and architecture to shape scalable solutions. You’ll cultivate strong relationships with senior stakeholders, drive discovery and design decisions, and ensure outcomes meet measurable business objectives. Key responsibilities Stakeholder leadership & discovery – Build trusted relationships with senior business stakeholders and SMEs; lead workshops to clarify problem statements, futurestate processes, risks, assumptions, and dependencies that impact technical delivery. Requirements & specifications – Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional and nonfunctional requirements; translate into highquality specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, data models, and interface contracts that guide design and build. Backlog & delivery enablement – Own/curate the product backlog in partnership with the Product Owner; facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews/demos, and retrospectives in partnership with the Scrum Master; ensure release readiness and signoffs per program governance. Systems & data analysis – Map endtoend processes and systems, analyze upstream/downstream impacts, sequence diagrams, integrations (APIs, events), and nonfunctional needs (security, scalability, operability). Quality & test readiness – Support test strategy, scenario design and traceability; validate that solutions meet business outcomes and compliance criteria; coordinate UAT and defect triage with QA and engineering. Decision support & insight – Synthesize data and research into clear options, tradeoffs, and recommendations; contribute to business cases and impact analyses for roadmap items. Team leadership & coaching – Mentor other BAs; facilitate collaborative sessions across product, design, engineering, and operations to align scope and delivery plans.What success looks like (12–18 months) Business outcomes and KPIs are met or exceeded for owned epics/features, with transparent measurement and reporting. A healthy, prioritized backlog with wellformed stories and acceptance criteria drives predictable delivery across sprints. Clear traceability from requirements to releases and production value; audits and release readiness checks pass first time. Stakeholders rate the BA function highly for clarity, responsiveness, and influence on product quality.Skills & experience Musthave 7+ years in business analysis for technology products/platforms, including leading discovery and requirements for multiteam releases in Agile/DevOps environments. Demonstrated systems thinking—understanding interdependencies across business workflows and system components to optimize outcomes. Handson experience converting business needs into technical specifications and partnering with architects/engineers on solution design. Proven facilitation of crossfunctional sessions with product managers, designers, and engineers to scope, define, and lead requirements. Delivery experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum/SAFe), DevOps toolchains (e.g., Azure DevOps), and iterative release cycles.
