**Job Title:** DEVOPS Expert **Department** : ISPL ITGP, FPM **About Business Line/Function** IT GROUP (ITG) represents the worldwide IT community within the BNP Paribas Group. IT Group Production (ITGP) is the ITG department in charge of production services for all the assets managed globally within the group. Within ITGP, FPM oversees all the payment and card related assets managed globally within the group. Our duty is to provide first-in-class production services to both the bank customers and internal users, on many applications used worldwide, based on various technologies and operated in Agile methodology. **Position Purpose** Amongst ITGP APS FPM department, CD&S domain must support the application areas of the APS PM (Electronic Banking, Cash Management, Customer Data Services and Factoring) in their technological evolution towards the BNPP Dedicated Cloud (IBM Public Cloud Instantiation). With more than 80 applications on the dedicated cloud (PaaS and IaaS) by the end of 2025 (some of which are already in service), the APS must be able to meet these important build challenges, while ensuring the optimal functioning of the RUN. (\\*) In this case, Monétique is related to the bank’s payment card services. **Responsibilities** Direct Responsibilities Cloud expertise dedicated to the application areas of the OPS (BUILD / RUN) : - support of Production Engineers on the application areas and support on application building projects on our dedicated IaC(\\*) Cloud - Technology watch : testing, validation, documentation of Cloud services, definition of best practices, recommendations on the use of Cloud services within the OPS,. - Study / support / Implementation on cross-functional subjects: version upgrades, complex certificate renewals, automation of deployments, creation and maintenance of services for PSOs, etc. (\\*) Infrastructure As Code Contributing Responsibilities - The candidate must also have a high level expertise on Cloud Technologies - Dedicated and private Cloud environment (Knowledge of IBM public cloud is a plus) - Must have good hands-on knowledge on Dynatrace - Hands on knowledge on DevOps/Automation: Ansible, AWX, Jenkins, Terraform, Gitlab, ServiceNow (workflows; forms; orchestration; NLU), Jfrog Artifactory, Hashicorp Vault, Docker, Kubernetes - Mangement tools Infrastructure As Code (IaC) like Terraform - Should be able to configure, manage, and monitor cloud-based services such as AWS EC2, S3, VPC, IAM and RDS using Terraform and Ansible **The Main Soft Skills The Candidate Should Have** - Autonomy & Adaptability - Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems quickly and efficiently - Ability to work under pressure and manage incidents and downtime in support of our OPS engineers - Ability to manage and deploy containerized applications - Ability to listen carefully - Ability to clearly formalize/synthetize what is being said - Be organized - Ability to do proactive follow-ups - Detail oriented - Client and result oriented **Specific Qualifications** Bachelor’s degree in science, BE, B Tech, MCA **Technical Skills** **Skills Referential (Required knowledge, skills and abilities)** - Ansible, AWX, Jenkins, ServiceNow (workflows; forms; orchestration; NLU, Hashicorp Vault, Docker, - Terraform, Gitlab - Linux Administrator - Kubernetes - Dynatrace **Behavioral Skills** - Excellent communication skills(verbal, written) - Ability to collaborate - Attention to detail - Client focused **Education Level:** Bachelor’s degree in science, BE, B Tech, MCA **Location:** GBIC Chennai **About BNP Paribas Group** BNP Paribas is the European Union’s leading bank and key player in international banking.
