**Job Description** RTE Offshore Lead (IIB / ACE) **Role Title** - Technical Lead / Offshore Lead RTE Application (IIB / IBM ACE) **Role Summary** We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead for the RTE (Real-Time Eligibility) platform, responsible for end-to-end ownership of application support, enhancements, and platform stability. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IBM Integration Bus (IIB) / IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and proven experience in managing production support for Tier-1 enterprise applications. This role requires leading application support, driving incident resolution, executing infrastructure and IT currency upgrades, and mentoring a distributed team to ensure high availability and performance of business-critical services. **Key Responsibilities** - Application Support & Incident Management - Lead L2/L3 production support for RTE application ensuring SLA adherence - Drive Major Incident (IRT) resolution with end-to-end ownership - Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures - Ensure proactive monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning - IIB / ACE Development & Maintenance - Develop and maintain IIB / ACE message flows, APIs, and integrations - Troubleshoot message transformations, routing, and orchestration issues - Optimize ACE flows interacting with APIC, backend systems, and mainframes - Break-Fix & Continuous Improvements - Handle tickets, defects, and enhancements (SRs) with high quality and TAT - Identify automation opportunities and self-healing mechanisms - Drive technical debt reduction and application modernization initiatives - Infrastructure & IT Currency - Plan and execute: - Middleware upgrades (ACE / IIB) - Certificate renewals and security fixes - Integration changes across dependent systems - Ensure zero/low downtime deployment strategy for Tier-1 apps - Team Leadership & Capability Development - Lead offshore team and ensure optimal utilization & skill alignment - Conduct: - Technical mentoring on IIB / ACE - RCA walkthroughs and knowledge sessions - Support onboarding and transition of new talent - Stakeholder & Client Management - Interface with: - Business stakeholders - Onsite teams - Vendor teams (API, mainframe, infra) - Provide structured updates: - Daily status - Incident summaries - Executive reports **Technical Skills Required** - Core Skills - Strong expertise in: - IBM IIB (Integration Bus) / IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) - Message flows, ESQL, MQ, HTTP/SOAP/REST services - Experience with: - API Gateway (APIC or similar) - Mainframe integrations (CICS, DB2, MQ) - Supporting Tools - Monitoring: Splunk, AppDynamics, Topaz - Middleware: MQ, ESB platforms - Scripting: Unix shell scripting (added advantage) - Functional Understanding (Highly Preferred) - Experience in: - Healthcare domain / Eligibility systems - Understanding of: - Multi-system data aggregation and real-time processing*(Matches RTEs role in aggregating member/benefits data)* **Experience & Qualifications** - 4-7 years IT experience - Minimum 4+ years in IIB / ACE - Experience handling Tier-1 production support environments - Proven experience in: - Leading teams (onshore/offshore model) - Managing high-severity incidents **Key Competencies** - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Ability to work in high-pressure war-room environments - Excellent communication and leadership skills - Strong focus on: - SRE practices - MTTR/MTTD improvement - Customer experience **Nice to Have** - Knowledge of: - Cloud integration (Azure / OpenShift) - Observability frameworks - Automation & self-healing solutions
