Here, you will feel welcomed, respected, and valued as an important contributor to our diverse team   About the role:  As a CDP Solution Architect within the Salesforce Customer Data Platform (CDP / Data 360) space for the Plasma‑Derived Therapies (PDT) business unit, you will serve as the end‑to‑end technical owner and architectural authority for customer and donor data solutions. This role combines deep technical expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud with strong enterprise integration, techno‑functional leadership, and delivery ownership. You will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into scalable, secure, compliant, and high‑performing data architectures spanning data ingestion, identity resolution, data modeling, segmentation, and activation across Salesforce and non‑Salesforce platforms. This position directly enables PDT’s ability to leverage enterprise data assets, improve decision‑making, enable personalization, and support regulatory and operational excellence. The role aligns with the External Experience chapter of the ICC and reports to the PDT Delivery Lead for strategic alignment and day‑to‑day leadership. How you will contribute: Architecture & Technical Leadership • Own the end‑to‑end CDP solution architecture, technical design, and implementation strategy. • Define and enforce architecture standards, design patterns, and integration principles across CDP solutions. • Design scalable data ingestion and integration architectures supporting data from CRM systems, enterprise data platforms, third‑party vendors, analytics systems, and external sources. • Architect identity resolution strategies, data models, segmentation frameworks, and activation patterns to support business use cases. Enterprise & Platform Integration • Architect and govern integrations between Salesforce Data Cloud and external enterprise systems, including data warehouses/lakes, analytics platforms, vendor systems, APIs, middleware platforms, and cloud services. • Design and oversee API‑driven, event‑based, and batch integrations, ensuring scalability, resiliency, and data quality. • Provide technical guidance for integrations regardless of platform (Salesforce or non‑Salesforce). Techno‑Functional & Delivery Leadership • Lead requirements discovery and translate business needs into solution designs, architecture artefacts, technical specifications, and user stories. • Provide hands‑on technical leadership to developers and engineering teams throughout the delivery lifecycle. • Assess technical impacts of evolving requirements and perform architectural impact analysis and risk assessment. • Lead and oversee UAT strategy, defect triage, and go‑live readiness. Governance, Compliance & Operations • Ensure compliance with GxP, data privacy, and regulatory standards, including validation and change control. • Maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, integrations, configurations, and operational processes. • Oversee proactive monitoring, incident management, and root cause analysis (RCA) for CDP environments. • Ensure quality, performance, availability, and security across all CDP integrations and data flows. Stakeholder, Vendor & Team Leadership • Act as a trusted technical advisor to business stakeholders, leadership, and product teams. • Collaborate with enterprise architects, developers, QA, validation teams, and external vendors. • Influence adoption and effective utilization of customer and donor experience solutions across PDT and Takeda.
