**Job Requirements** **Job Description: Technical Manager - Electricals** **Knowledge & Skills requirements:** - Engineering experience in electrical systems for more than 20 years in Oil and Gas Industry with excellent knowledge in HV/MV/LV system and associated equipment/design. - Technically expert and responsible to handle electrical engineering team of approximately 15 - 20 members of strength at various level. - Expertise in IEEE, IEC, NEC, NFPA standards. - Expertise in Power system studies using software's like ETAP / SKM Power tools. - Excellent technical and communication skill to interact with customer across various regions on regular basis. - Review and Approval of electrical engineering deliverables for Oil and Gas based projects. - Ability to lead electrical system layouts and coordinate with other disciplines. - Perform preliminary studies for grounding, lightning protection, arc flash hazard, and other studies required for substation design. - Experience in Design calculations for Transformer, Generator - Review of Vendor Drawings and Technical Bid Evaluation/Approval - Experienced in assisting during installation, testing and commissioning of Electrical System Equipment at site and coordinating with other discipline to support in project work completion - Experience of participation in FAT and SAT - Familiar with Equipment Selection, Electrical Design Guidelines requirements around Electrical Area Classification in Oil and Gas industry - Familiarity with instrumentation and process control design for Oil and Gas industry - Familiarity with Midstream/Downstream design/engineering processes for Oil and Gas industry - Advanced competency with AutoCAD 2D is must, AutoCAD 3D capability would be an added advantage. - Team player, should work together other Technical disciplines in order to achieve Integrated project Execution **Work Experience** **Education:** - Bachelor/Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering - Engineering experience in electrical systems for more than 20 years in Oil and Gas Industry
