Position: Objective: Staff Technical Product Owner Location: Bangalore The Staff Technical Product Owner works to fulfill the strategic product direction established by the Engineering, Architecture, and Product Management teams. This role is responsible for defining the detailed requirements for each product and feature. The Staff Technical Product Manager must have a firm understanding of the business domain and project needs considering multiple types of users utilizing each solution. This position works closely with engineering on the specifications to ensure their Agile team has all the information needed to deliver a complete product to market. As a Data and Analytics Product Owner, you will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of data products, analytics solutions, and ensuring they align with business objectives. Duties and Responsibilities: • Bridge business requirements to technical capabilities • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes. • Work with the Product Manager and Agile team to define the scope included in a release. • Work with Product Owners to develop detailed specifications/requirements for the product features so they are clearly understood by the development team. • Actively participate in PI planning, product sprints and daily stand-up meetings • Be aware of customer commitments to communicate internally to assist with managing team expectations. • Manage dependencies in and across sprints and releases. • Work with the Agile team to manage and prioritize the backlog to ensure alignment with changing business needs. • Prioritize support work as needed. • Keep stakeholders apprised of progress and incorporate their feedback. • Use metrics and feedback to improve team and organization processes, best practices, performance, and delivery. • Leverage technical knowledge to make informed decisions about product architecture, scalability, and performance. Assess and address technical risks. • Act as a technology champion within the company. • Collaborate on Technology Roadmap with Product Manager and Architects • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and AI. Qualifications Required: • Overall 9+ years of experience in software development. • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Product Owner, Data Analyst, or similar role within the data and analytics domain. • He/She should have understanding about Data Engineering (if possible AI) and have worked with those teams atleast 1 year. • Experience working on these Tech Stack - AWS Data and Analytics - Data Lakes and Analytics on AWS - Amazon Web Services (this page has section of all services that are part of AWS Data and Analytics) - Specifically we are using Amazon S3, Glue, Lambda, SQS, Amazon Redshift, Athena, StepFn and basic services like IAM and VPC is must. • Strong understanding of data analytics tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI). • Having working knowledge of API Platform Technologies, Database, Microsoft Development Technologies • Experience building SaaS, Mobile, Data and AI solutions. • Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL processes. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Aha, ADO,etc.) Personal Attributes: • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills. • Detail-oriented with a commitment to data quality and accuracy. • Self-motivated and able to work independently. • Collaborative and team-oriented with a strong focus on stakeholder satisfaction.
