That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. You will be responsible for bringing structure to ambiguous, long-term programs, starting from conceptual phase all the way to global launch. The Sports landscape at Google is highly horizontal, requiring deep coordination across an ecosystem of engineering, product, UX, and partnership teams. You will navigate cross-functional and cross-organization dependencies, manage downstream change management, and drive consensus among senior stakeholders across disparate groups globally. **Responsibilities** - Drive strategy, planning, and execution of complex Sports initiatives from conception to global launch. - Structure ambiguous, multi-quarter programs into clear objectives and manageable engineering work streams. - Build consensus and align senior leaders across disparate groups and global sites. - Map horizontal dependencies, proactively mitigate program risks, and manage escalations to unblock delivery. - Translate business goals to technical designs, representing program health and helping evaluate scale and design trade-offs.
