Come and join us at Vestas!** **SSC - Services > SSC - Chennai > SSC- Special Task Coordinators** At Vestas Shared Service Center, we are constantly working to deliver on time to our support to Service business in terms of technical planning for scheduled and unscheduled maintenances, Contract management administration, transformation program, turbine performance reporting, Non-conformance management and Continuous improvements, etc, with an intent to optimize cost, LPF, commercial excellence. It is an ever-developing task in a progressive environment. The Shared Service Center is an integral part of Global Service Delivery organization providing consistent operational support to Regional Service in terms of Contract administration and management, Service operations - technical planning and Backend approvals, Turbine performance reporting and Non-conformance management with an intent to optimize cost, LPF, commercial excellence. This role will be part of Service operations support-Technical planning team which provides constant support to internal regional stakeholders, focusing on advanced operational planning of maintenance with full ownership and accurate task execution. **Responsibilities** - Technically Plan a Work order (clearly specified, enriched with relevant information, map a work type or manual planning: Define and search out all required materials, tools, services, and resources) Customer specifics considered in technical planning - Create service orders in SAP as per business process requirements - Perform an entitlement check via system support and identify sales opportunities and check the status with Contract Manager for Planning - Review service messages and confirm population readiness for the respective regions - Reassign a work order to Technical Support Engineers if advanced planning is required OR to Upstream if commercial clarification is required - Analyze and understand various types of component failure - Confirm readiness for works to be executed (system), Tools, parts & services are planned and monitored on time before crew mobilization - Service schedule is aligned with the obligations in service contracts - Prepare, level out & assign works for the territory & tasks of responsibility, to deliver best match for needs and potential. (i.e., weather conditions & skills) - Prepare 12-week planning (long-term planning) / short term planning (3-week detail plan) - Bundle and optimize work order composition - Assign service appointment to service crew by managing service crew composition on short term **Qualifications** - Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering - 4-7 years of experience in technical planning, service engineering, or operational functions - Strong SAP/SF capabilities, comfortable with data-driven decision making - Experience in components (blades, gearboxes, generators) is an advantage - Willingness to work in rotational shifts **Competencies** - Technical Competence in turbine components, documentation & service tasks - Strong analytical skills & ability to interpret operational patterns - Cross-functional collaboration skills - Advanced Excel capability Working knowledge of Power BI, with ability to modify or customize - Presentation skills for reporting backend quality, KPIs, and exceptions to stakeholders - Advanced problem-solving & planning optimization capabilityStrong communication with ability to influence and support teams **What We Offer** Vestas provides an open, respectful and global culture, attractive compensation package and long-term career development.
