Technician/ Sr. Technician ( ETP & STP Operations)

Job description

**Role & responsibilities** 1. Operate ETP & STP system as per plant requirement Bulk Chemical Storage & Transfer System. 2. Operate Neutralisation System. 3. Operate STP process units. 4. Operate Filter Press and sludge dewatering system. 5. Monitor pH, COD, BOD, TDS, MLSS and flow. 6. Monitor clarifiers, aeration blowers and dosing systems. 7. Prepare and transfer chemicals safely, monitor acid, alkali and polymer dosing. 8. Maintain chemical dosing as per operating parameters. 9. Operate filter press, handle sludge collection and disposal. And maintain sludge generation records. 10. Monitor pumps, motors, heat exchangers and valves and aassist maintenance during PM and breakdowns. 11. Record operating parameters, maintain shift logbook, record steam consumption. record water recovery & salt disposal records. 12. Prepare shift handover reports 13. Follow ZLD operating SOPs. 14. Follow all EHS, PTW and LOTO procedures. **Preferred candidate profile** To operate, monitor and maintain the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), including Bulk Chemical Storage & Transfer, Neutralisation System, STP and Filter Press, ensuring efficient wastewater treatment, statutory environmental compliance, safe operation and uninterrupted utility support. **Required Skills** 1.
