**B. E. Chemical from a reputed instituteRole & responsibilities** *1. Able to lead a team of Process Engineers which can:* *-Create PFDs, P&IDs, MSD, & Plant layouts for new projects* *-Generate Mass Balance, Energy Balance for new projects* *-Complete basic engineering as per BEP guidelines* *-Able to calculate and arrive at CAPEX figures after Basic Engineering* *-Quality of BEP and project should be ensured as per guidelines* *-Able to conduct Risk Management studies like HAZOP, HIRA, for new projects in coordination with Risk Management Leader* *-Help project team in performing detailed engineering* *-Enquiry floating of equipment and technical clearance of equipment's* *-Help operation team in commissioning the project.* *-Assist for technical clarification of operations persons for completed projects* *-Initial benchmarks of process will be defined by the Technology team so as to achieve the parameters considered while designing.* *-Create documents as per BEP guidelines and store them as per PI guidelines.* *2. Create handover documents and do a smooth handover of project documents to project team* *3. Maintain documents as per PI, so as to face quality audits. Cross functional audits to ensure quality of BEP.* *4. Conduct pre-startup safety review, before plant startup* *5. Ensure Behavior Based Safety practices while project execution is in progress.* *6. Interaction with the R & D department for discussion on TTD and TTD demonstration if required.* *7. Design and Interact Pilot plant trials and observe, Infer results of pilot trials* *8. Create an atmosphere in a team to promote values and culture of the company. Show leadership in showcasing the culture of the organization.* **Preferred candidate profile** *- 6-8 years of total experience in the project.
