Test Automation Engineer

Job description

Responsibilities • Develop, enhance, and maintain Selenium-based automation scripts using Java. • Design and execute manual test cases, ensuring full coverage of functional requirements. • Participate in test planning, test design, and defect management. • Analyze automation test results, report issues, and track them to closure. • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team members to ensure high-quality releases. • Implement and maintain automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, Maven/Gradle). • Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.). • Identify test scenarios suitable for automation and ensure maximum automation coverage. • Work with APIs and perform API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured (preferred). • Ensure adherence to QA standards, best practices, and process documentation.
