Test Lead

Job description

- Minimum of 7 years of core automation experience, owning the automation roadmap and strategy for the platform - Strong knowledge and experience in creating automation framework from scratch using test automation tools like Cypress. - Knowhow in pipelines management and maintenance especially with Azure Devops, Github Actions - Demonstrates comprehensive automation leadership across advanced automation, performance, shift-left, or shift-right testing. - Experience in code branching strategies (GitFlow, BitBucket, ADO, etc.) and integration of quality into CI/CD pipelines. - Experience in framework design Page Object Model as well as Data-driven and keyword driven frameworks - Experience in languages such as Javascript/Typescript preferred. - Web automation expertise handling, dynamic elements, iFrames, Shadow DOM, Network mocking - Knowledge in parallel execution and performance optimization, visual testing and screenshot comparison - Knowledge of handling authentication/session reuse. - Strong investigative and analytical qualities and ability to contribute to an environment of continuous improvement. - UI and API automation – web, desktop, API testing - Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change. Experience in test management on teams using both Agile and traditional delivery methods and tools. Collaborate with development and IT teams to ensure vulnerabilities are effectively addressed. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. **Desirable:** - ISEB / ISTQB certified. - Stay current with the latest tools and methodologies. - Xray integration to trigger automation runs. - Knowledge of mocks and stubs in testing. - A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, such as Computer Science/Engineering, is desirable but not essential.
