Job description

**Role:** Test Lead **Domain:** Banking Payments (BACS, CHAPS) **Experience:** 8-12+ Years **Location:** Greater Noida , Pune ,Hyderabad Key Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end testing activities for UK payment systems involving **BACS** and **CHAPS**. - Define test strategy, test plans, test scenarios, and test execution approach. - Coordinate with Business Analysts, Developers, SMEs, and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery. - Manage Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and UAT testing phases. - Validate payment processing workflows, message formats, settlement, reconciliation, and exception handling. - Track defects, perform root cause analysis, and drive defect resolution. - Prepare test metrics, status reports, and quality dashboards. - Mentor and guide testing teams while ensuring adherence to QA processes. Required Skills - Strong experience in **Banking & Payments Testing**. - Hands-on experience with **BACS (Bankers' Automated Clearing Services)** and **CHAPS (Clearing House Automated Payment System)**. - Knowledge of payment lifecycle, settlement, reconciliation, and payment gateways. - Experience in Functional Testing, SIT, UAT, and Regression Testing. - Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies. - Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps, etc.). - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
