**Job Title:** Test Specialist **Primary Skills:** ETL Testing (e.g., Informatica, SSIS, Talend, DataStage), Database testing, SQL Queries, Data warehouse testing and Cloud experience (e.g., Snowflake, Azure, AWS) **Secondary Skills:** Automation testing (Python preferred) **Experience:** 5-10 years **Location:** Hyderabad, Pune and Greater Noida **Duration:** Full time We at Coforge are hiring for Test Specialist role with following skill sets: - At least 5 to 10 years of experience with **ETL tools** (e.g., Informatica, SSIS, Talend, DataStage) - **Database & Querying Skills:** Advanced proficiency in writing SQL queries is mandatory; experience with database management systems like SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, or Snowflake. - Understanding of **data warehousing concepts** (fact/dimension tables, star schema) - Experience in **data migration and validation testing** - Knowledge of **data quality and reconciliation techniques** - Familiarity with **automation tools / scripting (Python preferred)** - Exposure to **cloud platforms** (Snowflake, Azure, AWS) is an advantage - Validate **ETL processes** including data extraction, transformation, and loading across systems. - Perform **data reconciliation** between source and target databases. - Validate **data mapping, data transformations, and business rules** . - Execute **SQL queries** to verify data accuracy and integrity. - Test **data migration and integration workflows** across environments (SIT/UAT/Prod). - Identify, log, and track **data defects** , inconsistencies, and anomalies. - Validate **data quality checks** such as (Record counts, Duplicate checks, Null validations, Data type validation) - Perform **end-to-end testing** for data pipelines and ETL jobs. - Support **automation frameworks/tools** for data validation (e.g., Python-based, ETL tools). - Prepare **test plans, test cases, and test reports** . - Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders.
