Qualification • B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering • Minimum 5–6 years of relevant experience in HVAC, refrigeration, chiller testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance validation • Knowledge of: • Air-Cooled and Water-Cooled Chillers • AHRI Standards • NABL Accreditation Requirements • BEE Star Label Program • HVAC Controls and Instrumentation • Test Bed Operations and Calibration Management Work Location Plot No. 2, Gat No. 180P, Global Industrial Park, Village Phulgaon, Taluka Haveli, Pune – 412216, Maharashtra, India Key Responsibilities – Sr. Testing Engineer / Assistant Manager – Testing The role primarily focuses on chiller performance testing, troubleshooting, test facility management, and AHRI/NABL/BEE compliance. 1. Chiller Performance Testing • Conduct performance testing of Air-Cooled and Water-Cooled Chillers as per production plans and priorities. • Verify critical performance parameters, including: • Cooling Capacity (TR or kW) • Power Consumption (kW) • Input Power (kW) • KW/TR or COP • Analyze and validate test results. • Ensure compliance with: • AHRI 551/591 Standards • AHRI 550/590 Standards • IS 16590 Standards • Prepare and maintain performance test records and reports. 2. Customer & Third-Party Testing • Independently handle customer witness tests and third-party inspections. • Coordinate testing activities with customers and inspection agencies. • Prepare and maintain: • Log Sheets • Test Reports • Minutes of Meeting (MOM) • Ensure timely closure of observations and customer requirements. 3. Troubleshooting & Technical Support • Diagnoses and resolve: • Electrical issues • Mechanical issues • Refrigeration system issues • Instrumentation-related issues • Troubleshoot all types of chillers, including: • Screw Chillers • Scroll Chillers • Centrifugal Chillers • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for failures. • Support compressor overhaul, repair, and fault diagnosis activities.
