**Function** **Operations** **Job Title** **Trainee – Underwriting** **Location** **G Corp Tech Park, Thane** **Department** **Underwriting** **Unit** **Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance Company Ltd** - Job Purpose Analyse and underwrite life insurance cases as per assigned financial limits within the defined timelines while maintaining high standards of accuracy. - Principal Accountabilities **Accountability** Supporting Actions Approve & sign off cases within financial limits to ensure prudent selection of Risks - Underwrite cases & provide appropriate decision with the available information on hand - Countersign cases within the specified financial limits - Review & discuss the underwriting decisions with superiors wherever necessary Monitor and maintain productivity at individual level & help colleagues in achieving the productivity for team. To maintain TATs for sourced business. - Keep regular check at the flow of work within the team & ensure completion within TATs. Analyze branch queries & resolve the same in order to maintain the best interests of the internal customers. - Provide regular updates to the Branches regarding processing of cases through effective communication. - Resolve their queries within timelines.
