The direction of MGS’s development is paved by its three key pillars: Mutual Respect, Discipline, and Transparency, which serve as the baseline of every process and operation carried out at MGS. **What’s in it for you?** - Immense exposure and learning - Excellent career growth - Company of highly passionate leaders and mentors - Ability to build things from scratch **Know more about MGS:** https://www.mizuhogroup.com/asia-pacific/mizuho-global-services **Trade Finance Operations** Job title – AVP **Experience** 10-15 years of experience in Trade Finance (Minimum 8 years in authorization / checker role) **Role Purpose** To independently review, authorize and release trade finance transactions processed by the maker, ensuring accuracy, compliance with International Trade regulation, internal policies and regulatory requirements. **Key responsibilities:** - Review / Authorization of trade finance transactions prepared by Makers for completeness, accuracy, and compliance - Approval of Import Letter of Credit (LCs) -Issuance, Amendment, Bill Booking, Acceptance, Settlement - Review / Authorization of Export Letters of Credit – Advising, Confirmations, Transfers, Bill booking, Acceptance, Settlement - Experience of Documentary Examination under LC as per UCP / ISBP rules - Review / Authorization of Documentary Collections (Import / Export) - Bill Booking, Acceptance, Settlement - Review / Authorization of Bank Guarantee / Standby LCs – Issuance, Amendments, reversal, closure, Invocations - Review / Authorization of Trade Loans – Invoice discounting, Supplier Finance, Rollover, Settlement **Key Skills** : - Strong knowledge of Trade Finance Operations - Good understanding of UCP 600, ISBP, and documentary credit rules - Good understanding of URDG and URC. - Proficiency in SWIFT messaging and knowledge of Pacs 008 and 009. **Compliance** - Check sanction screening results, Perform Trade Based Money Laundering (TBML) checks and escalate high risk transactions **Risk Management** - Monitor Transaction queues - Ensure SLA compliance - Support audit activities - Handle queries from makers - Liaise with branches **Training and Coaching:** - Guide Junior Makers - Conduct Training - Knowledge sharing sessions - Review operational errors, if any - Support process improvement initiatives **Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in commerce & finance and MBA preferred, - CITF, CDCS is preferred. **Address** Mizuho Global Services India Pvt.
