**Role & responsibilities** We are seeking a senior **CFO Transformation Consulting Lead for Banking, Financial services and Insurance (BFSI)** with a strong **consulting background** to originate, shape, close and dun largescale **finance transformation programs** The ideal candidate will possess deep domain expertise in finance and proven sales leadership, with 1015 years of professional experience. This role requires deep **BFSI finance domain credibility**, the ability to engage **CFOs, CROs, COOs, and Audit Committees**, and proven success in selling complex, regulatoryintensive transformation programs in highly governed environments. **Key Responsibilities** - Own **origination, pipeline development, and closure** of CFO / Finance Transformation programs within **Banks, NBFCs, Capital Markets, and Insurance firms**. - Act as a **trusted advisor** to BFSI CFOs and senior finance leadership on regulatory compliance, finance modernization, and value creation. - Identify and develop new business opportunities by leveraging financial domain knowledge and industry insights. - Shape and sell **endtoend BFSI CFO transformation programs**, including: - RecordtoReport (R2R) and Financial Close Transformation - FP&A, Profitability, ALM & Enterprise Performance Management - Treasury, Liquidity, Cash & Working Capital Management - Regulatory Reporting, Finance Controls & Risk Alignment - Finance Operating Model, Shared Services & GBS - ERPled finance transformation (SAP S/4HANA Finance, Oracle, Workday Finance) - Lead **deal structuring, commercial negotiations, and governance approvals** in regulated client environments. - Collaborate with **Risk, Compliance, Technology, and Delivery leaders** to build integrated BFSI propositions. - Maintain a **strategic BFSI sales pipeline** aligned to firm growth targets. - Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, positioning the company as a thought leader in CFO transformation. - Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies impacting the CFO function. **Preferred candidate profile** - **Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification Mandatory**. - MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree from a reputed institution is **strongly preferred**. - **10–15 years of experience** with a strong focus on **BFSI CFO / Finance Transformation sales or advisory leadership**. - Proven success selling **large, complex transformation programs** to CFOs and senior finance stakeholders in **regulated BFSI environments**. - Deep understanding of: - BFSI accounting, financial reporting, and closing processes - Regulatory and compliance frameworks (RBI, IRDAI, SEBI, Basel norms, Ind AS, IFRS) - CFO priorities across cost efficiency, compliance, risk, capital, and digital finance - Experience operating in **matrixed, global consulting organizations**. **Preferred Experience** - Prior role in Big 4 or Tier1 firms will be preferred. - Strong exposure to one or more BFSI segments: - Banking (Retail / Corporate / Digital) - NBFCs & Lending Institutions - Capital Markets - Life & General Insurance - Experience selling **multiyear finance transformation or managed services programs**. - Established **CXOlevel relationships within the BFSI ecosystem**. **Leadership Attributes** - Strong **commercial ownership** with CFOlevel advisory mindset. - Ability to balance **sales leadership with deep BFSI consulting credibility**. - High integrity and comfort operating in **highly regulated client environments**. - Strategic, outcomeoriented, and resilient in complex deal cycles. **Preferred Skills & Attributes** - Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach. - Ability to articulate complex financial concepts in a clear and compelling manner. - Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability to fast-paced environments. - Proven ability to build and manage relationships with C-suite stakeholders. - Experience working in multicultural and cross-functional teams. - Network within the finance community in India.
