Founded in 2000, Visteon brings decades of automotive intelligence combined with Silicon Valley speed to apply global insights that help transform the software-defined vehicle of the future for many of the world’s largest OEMs. The company employs 10,000 employees in 18 countries around the globe. **Mission of the Role:**Analog and Digital tuner software development for IVI/CDC products **Key Objectives of this Role:** - Design & Implementation of Tuner component in Android HAL layer (C++) - Design & Implementation of Android Framework and Application (Java) - Design & Implementation of Tuner Driver Library -AMFM/DAB/SDARS/HD (C ++) **Key Performance Indicators:** - Very good in C, C++ programming - Strong working knowledge of Tuner technologies - AMFM/HD, DAB, SXM – at least one of them is required - Very good understanding of Android Framework layer is preferred - Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking - Strong project/program management experience in Automotive Infotainment - RTOS & Other OS concept understanding and working experience is preferred - Experience in tools like Rhapsody/Visio, JIRA, GIT - Basic understanding of Hardware, datasheet, schematics is preferred - Good communication skills **Key Year One Deliverables:** - Test driven development - Implementation of feature/features understanding the requirements and perform end to end testing of feature/features. **Qualification, Experience and Skills:** - Program and Sprint Planning for all IVI/CDC projects for Tuner team - Conducting daily scrums and tracking the progress with technical leads - Be the interface between Program delivery team and Audio development team for all the development activities - Initial analysis of features and triaging of the defects **Key Behaviors:** - Good problem-solving skills and analytical thinking - Result Orientation **Reporting Structure:** Candidate would report to Software Project Manager who has experience in tuner technologies, Android tuner development, multiple program delivery. **Visteon Culture:** If you thrive in a fast-paced, organizational culture that requires agility, adaptability, and a growth mindset from its employees to thrive and stay ahead of the curve Visteon is the place.
