This is a Full-time on-site Type Rated Aircraft Maintenance Engineer-B2 (Avionics), ATR72-600 (Pratt & Whitney Canada PW127M) role located in Dhaka, Bangladesh that reports directly to the Director, Engineering. The Type Rated Aircraft Maintenance Engineer-B2 is responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and airworthiness of all aircraft, specifically ATR72-600 (Pratt & Whitney Canada PW127M), according to company policies, procedures, and industry standards . This position is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. For the selected expat candidates, the company will provide shared accommodation, pick and drop to/from the office and all the supported related to work vis a. Key Responsibiliti es: Aircraft Maintenance & Certifica • tionExecute scheduled and unscheduled line and base maintenance specifically targeting ATR72-600 avionics, electrical, communication, and navigation syst • ems.Issue the Certificate of Release to Service (CRS) following the completion of maintenance tasks, ensuring absolute adherence to CAAB/EASA standa • rds.Perform functional tests, operational checks, and precision system calibrations using approved test equipment and procedu res. Troubleshooting & Defect Rectific • ationDiagnose and rectify complex electrical and avionics faults, including instrumentation interfaces with the Pratt & Whitney Canada PW127M eng • ines.Utilize advanced diagnostic tools, aircraft wiring manuals (AWM), and the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) to isolate and resolve system defects efficie • ntly.Manage deferred defects systematically, ensuring all dispatch conditions comply strictly with the Minimum Equipment List (MEL) and Configuration Deviation List ( CDL). Compliance & Documen • tationEnsure all maintenance activities are comprehensively and accurately documented in the Aircraft Technical Logbook and the organizational MRO sof • tware.Maintain strict compliance with all national and international regulatory requirements, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and internal company pol • icies.Review and audit work packages for completeness, ensuring all task cards and regulatory paperwork are finalized prior to aircraft sig n-off. Technical Leadership & Coord • inationSupervise, mentor, and provide practical on-the-job training to Trainee Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and junior techn • icians.Collaborate seamlessly with B1 (Mechanical) engineers, the Maintenance Control Center (MCC), and shift managers to ensure synchronized and efficient turna • rounds.Communicate clearly with flight crews regarding the technical status of the aircraft, explaining technical constraints, recent rectifications, or operational limitations prior to di spatch. Safety & Continuous Imp • rovementChampion the airline’s Safety Management System (SMS) by actively identifying and reporting hazards, near-misses, and potential procedura • l risks.Enforce strict Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention and maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment on the ramp and inside the • hangar.Proactively suggest improvements to maintenance workflows, tooling utilization, and safety protocols to optimize fleet reli ability. AOG (Aircraft on Ground • ) SupportDeliver rapid-response technical intervention during AOG situations to restore airworthiness safely and minimize flight schedule dis • ruptions.Coordinate urgently with supply chain, stores, and logistics personnel to identify and procure critical avionics components required for immediate • recovery.Deploy at short notice to domestic or international outstations to perform emergency troubleshooting and recover grounded aircraft. Quali • fications:Part 66 Course Complete/Diploma in AME/Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering or e • quivalent.Valid Part 66 EASA/CAAM/DGCA/CAAB B2 license with a Type Rating ATR72-600 (Pratt & Whitney Cana • da PW127M)Minimum 5 years of experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance practices of ATR72-600 (Pratt & Whitney Cana • da PW127M)A solid understanding of relevant regulations and standards related to aircraft maintenance, and experience in working with MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul) processes and p • rocedures.Experience in managing maintenance programs for aircraft and providing technical support to other technical personnel. Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving complex technical problems in a practical and pragmat • ic manner.Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Fluency in English is • required.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines and ensure that aircraft maintenance is achieved ef ficiently.
