The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in General Ledger accounting, reconciliations, month-end close activities, and financial reporting. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to ensure accurate financial records and regulatory compliance. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage General Ledger accounting and ensure accurate financial reporting. * Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments. * Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. * Execute Month-end, Quarter-end, and Year-end closing activities. * Handle Intercompany accounting and reconciliations. * Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance. * Assist in internal and external audits by preparing required schedules and documentation. * Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and company policies. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and controls. **Mandatory Skills** * Strong knowledge of **UK Accounting and Financial Reporting**. * Hands-on experience in: * General Ledger Accounting * Journal Entries \& Accruals * Balance Sheet Reconciliations * Month-end, Quarter-end \& Year-end Close * Intercompany Accounting \& Reconciliations * Variance Analysis * Experience supporting internal and external audits. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Proficiency in ERP/Accounting systems and MS Excel. **Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field. * 5-7 years of relevant experience in UK Accounting and Financial Reporting. **Note:** Candidates with strong exposure to General Ledger, financial close activities, reconciliations, audit support, and UK accounting practices will be preferred. **Connect with Sanjana Mehra for more insights** **Email - sanjana.mehra@coforge.com**
