Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - Strong HP - Unix server administration skills, and clear architectural understanding of RedHat, Solaris , CentOS and SUSE Linux distributions. • Unix authentication expertise. Local PAM and LDAP or other Active Directory integration • server patching as per the defined security policy. Experience with Red Hat Satellite. • Automation and configuration management through tools like Shell scripting, Ansible or Puppet • OS installation on physical and virtual servers, OS patching, LVM, Server decommission, Server hardening, service administration/configuration like SSH, FTP, DNS, DHCP, NFS and NTP. Cloud Infrastructure administration and VM administration. Should work in 24\\*7 support • DR exercise Required strong knowledge in planning and execution of DR activities. Good-to-Have VMware administration, knowledge in Networking, Storage & Backup SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role 1 Ability to handle all the L3 issues on Unix servers and perform root cause analysis to identify underlying causes and implement correctiv Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role 1 Ability to handle all the L3 issues on Unix servers and perform root cause analysis to identify underlying causes and implement corrective actions. 2 Should have Experience in Installing, upgrading and configuring HP-Unix , CentOS and SUSE Linux on Physical and Virtual servers 3 Should have good knowledge of shell script/Ansible to automate regular tasks. 4 Good knowledge in Vulnerability Management - Ensure that systems comply with defined security standards when it comes to policies to hardening, security and policy enforcement. 5 Should adhere to the SLA and exposure in Incident, Problem and Change Management 6 Able to plan and execute Hardware Maintenance and firmware upgrades on physical servers. 7 Should be able to configure/manage SAN or NAS storage configuration in client 8 Supporting existing and new application infrastructure in design/plan/deploy 9 Support activities needed to implement and maintain security policy & regulator guidelines (Server hardening) 10 Must have good articulation skills in documentation for Process/KEDB
