Role & responsibilities • Support carrier and shipper onboarding activities, ensuring successful adoption of transportation programs and systems. • Deliver training and guidance to internal stakeholders and external partners on transportation processes, tools, and best practices. Monitor transportation planning and shipment execution activities, identifying and resolving exceptions to minimize operational disruptions. • Manage transportation requests, spot bid activities, and multi-modal rate requests across air, ocean, and ground transportation modes. • Coordinate and support priority, specialized, and time-sensitive shipments to ensure service commitments are met. • Perform system testing activities to validate enhancements, document results, and support continuous technology improvements. • Provide timely and professional operational support through designated communication channels and case management systems. • Collaborate with internal teams and service providers to maintain effective transportation operations and compliance with program requirements. • Manage end-to-end airfreight spot bid processes, including event setup, bid administration, analysis, and implementation. • Support rate request activities, including evaluation, negotiation, approval coordination, and transportation system maintenance. • Analyze transportation data, sourcing outcomes, and carrier performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. • Partner with regional logistics leaders and business stakeholders to support sourcing events, data consolidation, reporting, and decision-making. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service quality, operational efficiency, cost optimization, and customer satisfaction. • Promote a culture of collaboration, integrity, innovation, and accountability in all aspects of work. Preferred candidate profile • Experience supporting logistics, transportation, supply chain, or related operational environments. • Knowledge of transportation processes, supply chain operations, and logistics fundamentals. • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and support informed business decision-making. • Experience working with transportation, enterprise resource planning, supply chain, or related business systems. • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other business productivity tools. • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global and cross-functional teams. • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results. • Experience supporting stakeholders, customers, suppliers, or service providers in a professional setting. • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
