User Interface Designer

Job description

We are seeking an experienced **UI/UX Designer** with a strong understanding of **Design Systems** to execute website projects that align with our brand identity and digital strategy. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in UI design, visual aesthetics, and user experience principles to create high-quality, user-centered digital experiences. You will be responsible for ensuring consistency, scalability, accessibility, and seamless functionality across multiple devices and platforms. Your work will play a critical role in delivering exceptional, engaging, and accessible online experiences that align with both user needs and business objectives. **Role & responsibilities** Website Design & Execution - Create and execute high-fidelity website designs that are visually compelling and aligned with business requirements. - Develop interactive prototypes and wireframes to effectively communicate design concepts and user flows. - Ensure designs are responsive and optimized across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Design System Utilization - Leverage existing design systems to maintain a consistent visual language across digital touchpoints. - Create, update, and maintain reusable UI components and design patterns. - Ensure scalability, efficiency, and brand consistency in all website designs. Visual Design - Apply strong visual design principles, including: - Unity - Gestalt Principles - Spatial Design - Visual Hierarchy - Balance - Contrast - Scale - Dominance - Similarity - Color Theory - Produce aesthetically appealing designs that enhance usability and engagement. User-Centered Design - Apply UX/UI best practices to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces. - Conduct design validation and usability-focused improvements throughout the design process. - Ensure compliance with accessibility standards, preferably **WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines**. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate closely with Design Leads, Developers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders. - Refine requirements, clarify functionality, and ensure design feasibility during project execution. - Partner with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs. Stakeholder Communication - Present design concepts, prototypes, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams. - Clearly articulate design decisions and rationale. - Effectively incorporate feedback while maintaining design integrity and project goals. **Preferred candidate profile** Technical Skills - Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as: - Figma - Sketch - Adobe XD - Understanding of front-end development fundamentals, including: - HTML - CSS - Familiarity with web accessibility standards and best practices (WCAG). **Perks and benefits**
