The position is a part of the Global Consulting Services (GCS) Global Sales pillar which aligns its priorities with the overall GCS strategy, and with stretch collaboration with Green-Dot and GCS Senior Leaders (CEOs, COOs, CCOs) in Global and Member Firms, and Growth Leaders. **Overview Of The Role** The GCS Consultant will be a key member of the GCS Global Sales Team. The incumbent will act as the primary executor of analytics tasks, supporting stakeholders’ engagements with data extraction, cleaning, analysis, and visualization to uncover business insights. **Work you’ll do** As a data consultant, the professional will serve as the primary executor of analytics tasks, working closely with colleagues in India and senior leaders across the Global Consulting Services organization. The professional will support stakeholders by extracting, cleaning, and analysing data to uncover meaningful business insights. Developing a strong understanding of the firm’s Consulting Services businesses—Strategy, Risk & Transactions, and Technology & Transformation—and their strategic priorities will be essential to effectively share insights, identify trends, and escalate issues or variances when needed. The professional will own deliverables by leveraging data, information, and insights, demonstrating solid analytical, storyboarding, and business writing skills. Additionally, the professional will develop compelling narratives with clear recommendations based on thorough research and analysis. The projects you support are typically high-impact and high-visibility, aligned with the global firm and Consulting Services leadership’s strategic priorities, often requiring collaboration across workstreams to ensure coordination and alignment. **Key Responsibilities** - Perform basic statistical analysis and data profiling - Gather, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data, draw conclusions, and develop strategic recommendations - Query and manipulate data using SQL and Excel - Analyze large data sets to create clear, insightful and concise executive level reports etc. utilizing analytical and problem-solving skills - Synthesize detailed analysis into impact summary using acute story boarding skills - Translate data findings into business-friendly narratives - Create executive level documents such as PPT decks, excel reports, tableau dashboards etc. for senior leadership - Actively share best practices among Global/US and India team members - Develop and maintain working relationships with Global/US colleagues - Report/work under the leadership of the Senior Manager/Manager, US/USI Requisite core skills - Strong core consulting skills – i.e. research, data analysis, including logical structuring and storyboarding, superior knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint - Attention to detail, responsiveness, and strong track record of executing high-impact initiatives - Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities with aggressive timelines; comfortable performing in a fast paced, dynamic environment; flexible to manage projects across time zones and adapt certain approaches to different cultures, communication styles, and working styles - Strong stakeholder management skills - Ability to integrate and synthesize large sets of data and broad stakeholder perspectives into meaningful insights - Ability to handle complex and ambiguous situations in the most effective and productive way - Accustomed to work in co-located and virtual teams - Highly developed personal and professional ethics - Ability to communicate/present analysis, insights, findings, and recommendations to executive leadership - Must possess the ability to handle highest level of confidential information - Knowledge and previous experience in innovation, strategy & operations, transformational roles - Write and edit Macros in Excel, create dashboards on Tableau, PowerBI, and SharePoint knowledge **Qualifications, experience, work location, and timing** We are looking for a passionate, high energy, and self-motivated individual who is accustomed to working independently and collaboratively on small and large projects in a close-knit team. - Academic qualification: Master’s Degree like MBA - Work experience: 4+ years, with at least 2 years of post-MBA experience - Strong track record with previous employment, preferably with consulting firms or in corporate strategy - Location: Hyderabad - Work hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (expected to be flexible with time zones) - Working from office: The individual is expected to come to office at least 2 days a week as per the ‘work from office’ schedule **About Deloitte** “Deloitte” is the brand under which independent firms throughout the world collaborate to provide services in a geographic area.
