(2) new experience designs (3) strategic experience design – new or improved ecosystem experience, experience architecture, etc. ***Management Level Definition:*** Contributions impact technical components of HPE products, solutions, or services regularly and sustainable. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Provides expertise and partnership to functional and technical project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for achieving objectives. May provide team leadership and mentoring to others. **UX Interaction Designer (6-10 Years Experience)** **Role summary:** **What You'll Do:** Design end-to-end interaction experiences for complex features, translating product goals into intuitive user flows and scalable interaction patterns. - **Own** the design from end-to-end — from user research, concepts exploration to design reviews, delivery, and usability testing - Work on **interaction design for medium-to-large features** (from concept to delivery) - Create **detailed user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes** - Define **interaction patterns, states, edge cases, and micro-interactions** - Collaborate closely with **product managers, engineers, UX designers, and design leads** - Actively participate in **design critiques, workshops, and alignment sessions** - Contribute to and extend **design systems and interaction standards** - Validate designs through **usability testing, research data, and feedback loops** - Ensure **handoff quality and implementation fidelity** **Collaboration Expectations** - Work effectively with **other UX designers to ensure consistency across features** - Align with **design leads on patterns, quality standards, and strategic direction** - Provide and receive **constructive design feedback** - Drive **cross-team alignment on interaction patterns and user experience decisions** **What You Need to Bring:** - Strong grasp of **interaction design principles and UX heuristics** - Ability to handle **ambiguity and break down complex problems** - Thinks in **systems, not just screens** (flows, states, scalability) - Solid understanding of **accessibility and usability best practices** - Working knowledge of **frontend (HTML/CSS/JS constraints)** - Good communication—can **explain design decisions with rationale** **Tools (Hands-on expectation)** - Advanced proficiency in Figma: - Components, variants, and auto layout - Interactive prototyping (complex flows, conditional logic) - Design system usage and contribution - Familiarity with: - Workshops, journey mapping - Usability testing tools (Maze, UserTesting, etc.) **Nice to Have** - Experience using **AI-powered design tools** for: - Rapid ideation and concept generation - Content assistance - Design exploration and iteration - Awareness of how AI can **accelerate workflows while maintaining design quality** - Domain expertise (Security, Networking, Enterprise UX) - Experience in **data-driven design / experimentation (A/B testing
